“Yoga provides a way to move through life with more self-inquiry, honesty, and compassion”
I practiced yoga intermittently for more than a decade before realising that I wanted yoga to be an integral part of my life. Initially, Bikram’s ‘healthy spine, healthy life’ quote resonated with me, and drew me in to a more disciplined practice. The physical benefits of yoga continue to be important, but as my relationship with yoga evolves, it is increasingly moving from a purely physical practice to a space for personal reflection.
My classes combine movement, philosophy and self-inquiry. My intention for teaching is to provide a strong physical practice as well as to inspire the practice of yoga off the mat, in particular, in finding moments of presence and in enabling greater kindness and compassion.
